Our whole Arctic® apple team looks forward to October all year long – and this fall is no different. Not only does it mark the end of apple harvest, we finally get to enjoy Arctic® Goldens and our other nonbrowning varieties and share them with others, including our friends in the produce industry!
North America’s preeminent annual produce industry event – the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit Convention & Expo – is kicking off this week from October 14-16th in Orlando, and we’ll not only have Arctic® apples for everyone to enjoy, but a few new surprises to share. While we’ve been attending Fresh Summit for years, last year we had an absolute blast exhibiting for the first time and handing out over 1,000 Arctic® Granny smoothies!
This year, we’re focusing in on fresh Arctic® apple slices for our booth visitors to enjoy; that’s the form that our first nonbrowning varieties will be available in after all. In addition to sharing the great taste of fresh Arctic® apples, we’ll also be showing off the type of Arctic® branded displays that eager consumers will be keeping an eye out for when Arctic® slices start hitting stores in 2017.
Additionally, we have highlights from our consumer research to share (check out a recent post on some of our recent findings if you missed it), which further demonstrate why we know ready to eat Arctic® apples will be a huge hit with apple lovers. New infographics highlighting some of the consumer research, as well as Arctic® apple traceability and sustainability will also be on hand.
Lastly, we’ll be showing off a new video of the very first commercial harvest of Arctic® apples, and have some cool apple-themed giveaway items you won’t want to miss out on.
