OSF leaders deliver ag-biotech presentations

We are always happy to share information about our nonbrowning Arctic® apples and have had many great opportunities to do just that over the past couple months, including a couple recent highlights.

One of our favorite ways to tell our story is through webinars, as they make it easy for many people to hear directly from us wherever convenient. And, it’s even better when webinar recordings are available to share, making them even more accessible!

Arctic apple presentation

So, we’re pleased to share the recording of last week’s webinar on “GE Quality Traits” featuring OSF president Neal Carter. As part of their information gathering process for an exhaustive GE Crop Study, the National Research Council invited Neal, along with Forage Genetics International’s Mark McCaslin and Simplot Plant Science’s Craig Richael to deliver presentations about the development and acceptance of biotech crops improved quality traits.

Additionally, we’re also happy to link to another Arctic® apple presentation from our recently named Director, Business Development and Marketing, Jennifer Armen. This webinar centered on the “Acceptance of Biotech in Specialty Crops” and also featured Dr. Kent Bradford from the University of California, Davis. We recommend checking out both of their presentations to learn more about consumer acceptance of biotech foods, particularly as it pertains to specialty crops and foods with consumer benefits.
