Current Products Available

OSF is now developing and testing the first non-browning apple products. This includes rigorous field testing and responding to all aspects of a very diligent regulatory approval process. Therefore, non-browning apple varieties are currently only available in field trials and greenhouse studies.

At this time, OSF is able to offer interested parties:

• a sublicense for the use of OSF's PPO silencing technology in tree fruits, such that they may initiate further Research & Development (R&D) and commercialization research activities;
• apple product licenses to collaborating parties for pre-commercialization activities and marketing of these products in the future;
• genetic engineering-enabling technologies offering freedom to operate in a number of vector designs and transformation approaches; and
• transformation know-how in Pome and Prunus tree fruits.
